Matthew Casey

Matthew Paul Casey, 62, of Wakarusa, IN passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Center for Hospice Care ~ Esther’s House in Elkhart, IN. Matt was born on April 17, 1963 to James and Doreen Casey in Pittsburgh, PA.

Matt worked as a forklift driver at Prime Time RV in Wakarusa, IN. He enjoyed shooting pool and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time outdoors at rock-n-roll concerts. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Matt is survived by his children, Matthew (Sydney) Casey of Goshen, IN., Chelsea Casey of Bloomville, NY. and Benjamin Casey of Bloomville, NY., his brother John (Dawn) Casey of Poland, OH., and the mother of his children Paula Schermerhorn. Matt was preceded in death by his parents James and Doreen Casey, and his siblings, Michael Casey, Kathleen Tremblay and Mark Casey.
