Maureen "Mo" Aldrich

Maureen “Mo” Aldrich, 57 of Elkhart, passed away March 14, 2013 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born November 9, 1955 in Dayton, OH to Thomas G. and Cleffie A. (Turner) Montgomery. She married Steven A. Aldrich on March 30, 1996. He survives along with a son, Wayne T. Wilkerson of Elkhart, a daughter, Melissa “Missy” Wilkerson of Sharon, OK, a stepson, Christopher Aldrich of South Bend, 3 grandchildren, JR, Nate and Alex Bakke; 3 sisters, Ruby (Marvin) Doucette of Neganee, MI, Rosemary (Donald) Wilson of Genoa, OH and Sonia (Rex) Dalton of Walbridge, OH; 2 brothers, Denver Eldridge and Dayrus Montgomery of Urbana, OH. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mo was a chauffeur for 8 years for P.T.I. and received a 6 years safe driver award. She enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing, the computer and golf. She collected Elvis memorabilia, unicorns and glassware.

Friends may call from 1-4 pm Tuesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart where a memorial service will be held at 5 pm with Reverend David Hudson officiating. Cremation will follow services.
