Maxine J. Ross

Maxine J. Ross, 94, of Bristol, passed from Earth to Heaven onThursday Sept. 25 at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born May 22, 1920 in Bristol to Roy E. and Ada L. (Remington) Johnson.
On Dec. 4, 1948 in Bristol, she married Hosea B. Ross who preceded her in death on April 5, 2007.

Surviving are her son Joseph (Donna) Ross of Grand Rapids, MI , two grandchildren, A sister: Dorothy Hamilton of Elkhart and a brother Eldon Johnson of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by sisters Alice Grubb, Toka Canen and Isabel Simpson and a brother Floyd Johnson.

Maxine was a member of Bristol United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 pm Friday Sept. 26th at Bristol United Methodist Church where services will be held at 9am Saturday with Pastor Fred Stayton officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.

Memorials for Maxine may be given to the church.
