Monica Polhemus, 57, of Moon Twsp., PA, formerly of Elkhart, passed away January 1, 2008 at her home.
She was born to Bernard and Mary (McGuiness) Looram and married John Polhemus. He survives, with 2 sons, John T. (Jeannie) Polhemus of Overland Park, KS, Patrick M. Polhemus and a daughter, Carol Ann Polhemus of Charlottesville, VA. Her parents and a brother Patrick Looram preceded in death.
Mrs. Polhemus was a former HR manager for Glaval Corporation in Elkhart. She was a member of St. Catherine's Church in Cresent Twsp., St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon Twsp., and St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Elkhart. She was a member of West Hills Women's Association and the West Hills Food Pantry, where she was a board member.
Memorials may be given to West Hills Food Pantry, Moon Twsp. PA or Christian Foundation for Children and Aging, Kansas City, KS
