Myrtle Louise Clark, lovingly known as Terry Clark, was born on April 30, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, in Elkhart, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Nafus and Betty O’Brien; her son, Jim Clark; her sisters, Dorothy Hoch, Fran Meeks, and Peggy Nafus-Beene; her brother, Chuck Nafus; and her son-in-law, Tom Hughes.
Terry is survived by her children: Janice Hughes of Elkhart, Indiana; Alice Clark of Elkhart, Indiana; John Clark (Terri Clark) of Portage, Indiana; and Judy Bogle (Ronnie Bogle) of Elkhart, Indiana. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her love and memory forward. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Dan Meeks of Lake Station, Indiana, Randy Hoch of Holmen, Wisconsin; and her sister-in-law, Linda Nafus of Lake Station, Indiana.
Terry was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She created generations of love and leaves behind a legacy rooted in family, laughter, and cherished memories. Nothing made her happier than spending time with those she loved most.
She had a vibrant spirit and truly enjoyed life. Terry loved dancing with her friends at the VFW, camping, watching her favorite soap operas, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. A die-hard fan through and through, she never missed a game.
Terry will be remembered for her joyful personality, her deep love for family, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor Terry’s life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at 1531 Evergreen Place, Elkhart, Indiana 46514.
