Oscar Bazet-Mutio

Oscar Bazet-Mutio, 50, of Elkhart passed at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Oscar was born on January 5, 1972 in Puebla, Mexico to Felix Bazet and Silvia Mutio.

Oscar loved to serve the Lord at First Baptist Church in Elkhart, where he enjoyed playing bass guitar in the church band. He always enjoyed eating a good steak in the company of friends and family. He truly loved to just spend time with his family and friends, and he will be sadly missed.

Oscar is survived by his mom, Silvia Mutio; his sisters Cynthia Bazet and her companion Gabriel Lepe of Elkhart and Silvia (Pat) Liverman of Goshen, IN; nieces and nephews, Johan (Anna) Vazquez, Alan Bazet, Sharon Vazquez and Nitza Lozada. Oscar was preceded in death by his dad, Felix.

Visitation for Oscar will be from 4pm to 6pm, Friday December 30, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where services will be at 6pm with Pastor Alfonso Aguilar officiating.
