Pamela Susan (Williams) Gentle

Pamela Susan Gentle, 70 of Bristol, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at My Mother’s House in Bristol, IN. Pam was born on March 12, 1954 to James Edward and Marilyn Arlene (Wilbur) Williams in Elkhart, IN.

Pam worked at Kroger for over 44 years, she worked in various positions from cashier to clerical in the office. In her spare time, she worked for ADEC, nursing homes and cleaning homes for people. She loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was a very sweet, spirited lady, and never met a stranger. Pam was a kind soul. She cared about everyone who crossed her path. She was a wonderful listener, genuinely interested in everyone’s story. Pam was beyond generous with her gifts, her time and her love. We were so privileged to have had her in our lives.

Pam is survived by her siblings, James Edward “Ed” (Helen “Janie”) Williams of Elkhart, IN., Sherry (Paul) File of Cassopolis, MI., and Rachelle Williams of Elkhart, IN; stepchildren Gerald, Don and Donna; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews Ashley (Jacob) Kain, Austin Williams, Schuyler (Christine) File, Nicholas (Brittany (File), Olivia (Jonathan) Allen and 15 great nieces and nephews and dog Adrian. Pam was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law John Calvert.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:30 -5:30pm on Sunday May 19, 2024 at Matterhorn Conference Center, 2041 Cassopolis Street, Elkhart, IN 46514.
