Rachel Anne Sommers

Rachel Anne Sommers, born April 17, 1986 in Elkhart, Indiana rose to heaven July 13, 2012.

Rachel was a licensed massage therapist in Plano, Texas. She recently moved from Princeton, Texas. Rachel graduated from Allen High School in 2004. She was an avid reader and music lover. Rachel had a genuine heart and a quiet soul. She loved animals, her family and God.

Rachel leaves behind her mother, Laraine Kerr of Plano, Texas; father, Blake Sommers of Elkhart, Indiana; brother, Steven Kerr of McKinney, Texas; Grandma Lois Nelson, Grandpa Herb Sommers and numerous extended family.

She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Leonard Nelson and Grandma Mary Sommers.

A memorial service for Rachel will be held at 10 am Saturday July 21, 2012 at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Elkhart.
