Randall D. Newell

Randall D. Newell, 43, of Elkhart, passed away July 5, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

He was born December 18, 1964 in Elkhart to Devon and Carrie (Sommers) Newell. He is survived by his former wife, Vicky Tengelitsch of Elkhart, 2 sons, Christopher Newell of Indianapolis and Joshua Newell of Goshen; 1 daughter, Jessica Newell of Elkhart, 1 grandson, Thomas Holley Jr. of Elkhart, 1 brother, Scott Newell and 2 sisters, Sara Perez and Debra Newell all of Elkhart, and his father, Devon Newell of Elkhart. His mother, Carrie Newell preceded in death on April 12, 2007.

He was a computer programmer/repairman for Eclipse in Indianapolis, then worked for IBM in Warsaw. He attended Clearview United Brethren Church in Goshen and loved fishing, sports, NASCAR, computers, music and was devoted to his grandson. He graduated in 1983 from Elkhart Central High School and earned an associates degree in Indianapolis,

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 2:30 pm at Clearview United Brethren Church in Goshen, with Reverend Hubert Schmucker officiating. Cremation will take place.

Memorials may be given to the family.
