Randall Carson Wampler

Randall Carson Wampler, age 90 of Bristol, IN passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Center for Hospice Care – Esther’s House in Elkhart, IN. Randall was born on September 18, 1935 to Raymond Carson and Clarice Wampler in Pikeville, TN.

Randall honorably served his country in the United States Marines. He earned the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was the owner and operator of Napa Auto Parts Store. He made a wonderful career of building custom homes and custom log homes. He was an experienced excavator and builder. Randall earned his brown belt in Judo. He was a PADI Scuba Dive Master and owned his own sailboat in the Caribbean. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, skiing and boating. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Randall is survived by his children, Randall C. (Rita Lorleberg) Wampler of St. Augustine, FL and Wendy (Wyman Bontrager) of Bristol, IN; grandchildren, Eli Bontrager, Carson Wampler, Kalin (Alexandra “Lexi”) Bontrager and Conner Wampler; great-grandchildren Hailley, Eleanor “Ellie”, Raiden and one on the way’ and his sister Wanda Garcia of Tennessee. Randall was preceded in death by his parents Carson Wampler and Clarice “Edna” VanWinkel, sisters Janice Sue Hamel and his baby sister Naomi Jean Wampler.
