Raymond J. Smith

Raymond J. Smith, 51, of Elkhart, Indiana, died at 9:47 am, August 19, 2009 at home.

Mr. Smith was born February 16, 1958 in Elkhart to Thomas and Evelyn (Pettrillo) Smith. He married Christine M. Fields in Elkhart on April 27, 2006. He is survived by his mother and his wife; 3 daughters, Nikki, Jada and Katie Smith; a stepdaughter, Amanda Johnson; a sister, Theresa Smith; and a brother Alan (Kathy) Smith, all of Elkhart.

He was employed at Plumrose Meat Company for 15 years and Suburban Manufacturing.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 3:00 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart. Rev. Ron Spyker of Jefferson Brethren Church will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
