Richard W. Halsey

Richard W. "Rick" Halsey, 54, of 21896 Christopher Dr. Elkhart, passed away February 24, 2008 at Goshen General Hospital.

He was born July 26, 1953 in South Bend, to Robert D. and Dora N. (Jones) Halsey. He is survived by his mother, Dora of Elkhart and a brother, Robert J. (Maria) Halsey of Goshen. His father preceded him in death.

Mr. Halsey was a welder for various RV companies and was interested in family geneology and spent much time on the computer researching information. He loved to play his guitar.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to the 11:00 am Wednesday service at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Reverend Larry Kurtz will officiate and burial will be at Prairie Street Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
