Richard Edmond Landgraf, Jr.

Richard "Dick" Edmond Landgraf, Jr., age 82 Elkhart, IN passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Center for Hospice Care - Esther's House in Elkhart, IN. Dick was born on November 14, 1943 to Richard E. and Joyce Landgraf in South Bend, IN. Dick married Sherry Brusdahl in 1973, together they raised three wonderful children.

Dick graduated from high school and attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Dick retired from AM General, he was a hard worker, but his favorite part of the job was test driving the hummers. Dick was a family man and truly loved to spend time with his family especially at their summer cottage at Hudson Lake, in New Carlisle, IN. His second love in life was sports from his love for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame Football to the Chicago Cubs, White Soxs, and Da Bears always rooting for the home team.

Dick is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Sherry, their children, Christopher (Tabitha) Landgraf of Elkhart, IN., Tiffany Marie Havens of Cape Coral, FL., and Richard "Rich" E. (Angie) Landgraf of Williston, FL; grandchildren, Victoria Sky Landgraf, Eric Landgraf, Emily Marie Morehouse and Dylan Havens; and 5 great-grandchildren. Dick was preceded in death by his father Richard Edmond Landgraf, Sr., his mother Joyce Spurlock and his brother Michael T. Landgraf.
