Robert David Rider

Robert David Rider, age 55, of Elkhart passed away on October 24, 2020 at his home. Robert was born on May 16, 1965 to Robert and Jane Rider.

Robert was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He loved being outdoors fishing or being the master on the grill. He enjoyed reading, especially the Bible. He had a loving personality and quirky sense of humor. He worked as a cabinet builder and woodworker.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Rider of South Bend and Christina Rider of Goshen; his granddaughter Zoey Marsh; his sister, Gina Rider of Elkhart and her son, Dante Zuniga of Ft. Wayne, IN; his brother, Ryan (Selena) Rider of Portage, MI and their daughter Emily Rider of Schoolcraft, MI.; his grandmother, Dorothy Rider of Elkhart and the mother of his children and a good friend, Donna Rider of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may visit from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm where Robert’s celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN.
