It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our precious Sandria Lashay Beard Johnson, who earned her beautiful wings on September 19, 2026, at the tender age of 8.

Sandria was a bright light who brought love, laughter, and joy wherever she went. She was outgoing, full of life, and truly the life of the party. If Sandria was around, you could count on laughter, dancing, singing, and a good time. Her personality could light up any room, and her beautiful spirit will forever live in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Sandria attended J.T. Barber Elementary School. She loved to dance, sing, make TikToks, visit parks, ride her bike, go out for ice cream, and play with her nephew, Zaiden. She absolutely loved Stitch, and her room was filled with Stitch because, as Sandra would say, “That was her baby!" She also loved Funny Mike and definitely did not play about him!

Sandria was deeply loved by her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her parents, Sabrena Beard Pendleton and Willie Johnson, and her stepfather, Chauncey Pendleton. She leaves her beloved siblings: Zyah, Jabrea, Honiste, Kahari, Jazzy, Justice, Tyreona, and Laylay. She is also lovingly remembered by her uncles, Anthony Beard, Lamarco Beard, Exzabion Beard, Lee Burton, and Samuel; her aunts, Raquel Buari, Macala Coleman, and Carolyn Hawkins; and countless extended family members who loved her dearly. Sandria is also lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Lavator B. Coleman, Kersley Coleman of Pollocksville, North Carolina; Deborah Johnson; Willie Johnson of Elkhart, Indiana; and William Burton of South Bend, Indiana; and her great-grandparent, Carol Beard of Huntington, Indiana.

Sandria also leaves behind her special best friend, Stacy, her best friend Brayden, and countless other friends whose lives were made brighter simply because Sandria was a part of them.

Though her time here on Earth was far too short, Sandria lived, loved, laughed, danced, and made memories that will last forever. Her smile, her personality, her love for her family, and that big, beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that our little princess has earned her wings. REST IN HEAVEN, SANDRIA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Agape Missionary Baptist Church, 248 W Wolf Ave, Elkhart, IN, 46516 where a funeral service will be held at 1:00pm.
