Sarah "Sally" Rosentreter

Sarah “Sally” Rosentreter, 79, of Goshen, IN, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. She was born in Minerva, OH, to Homer and Celeste Albaugh and later married Richard “Dick” Rosentreter, who preceded her in death in 2021.

Sally and Dick owned and operated The Rustic Inn in Goshen for more than 20 years. She also worked at the Pizza Hut in Concord Mall and at Gropp’s Famous Fish of Stroh. Sally loved gathering with family—especially over a good meal—and she enjoyed a busy social life. She and Dick wintered in Florida for many years with their “Florida family,” and in the summers she treasured time with friends at the Goshen Moose Lodge #836.

Sally is survived by her children, Lori (David) Eckman of Overland Park, KS, and Steven Rosentreter of Elkhart, IN; and by her grandchildren, Nathan Eckman; Lindsay (Nick) Siscoe; Jared (Izibelle) Rosentreter; Charles (Tate Miller) Rosentreter; and Lucy Rosentreter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Fred Albaugh.
