Sharon C. Kreighbaum

Sharon C. Kreighbaum, 65, of Elkhart, died April 7, 2010 at 5:15 am at Valley View Healthcare Center after a length battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born September 14, 1944 to Margaret Soule in St. Paul, MN.

She is survived by a daughter Dawn (Phil) Gage of Bristol; a son Timothy (Paula) Kreighbaum of Rockford, IL; 4 grandchildren Courtney & Catarina Gage and Alyssa & Kelsey Kreighbaum. She was preceded in death by a brother Phil Soule, sister Phyllis Soule, and mother Margaret Soule.

She worked as a sales secretary for Dexter Axle for 6 years. Prior to that, she worked at Dumor as an upholsterer for 30 years. She was a member of Elkhart First Baptist Church, and loved being a kid herself when she was with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00. Pastor Jeff Stedge will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
