Sharon Proctor

Sharon Proctor, 89, of Edwardsburg, MI passed away Sunday July 28,2024. Sharon was born on March 23, 1935 to Albert and Evelyn McKenzie in Chicago, IL. She married Harry Proctor on July 1, 1972 in Elkhart, IN., he preceded her in death on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Sharon worked at Miles Laboratory starting on the Alka seltzer line and in the instrument department. Sharon was very artistic and creative, she enjoyed making beautiful arts and crafts projects. She was an excellent party planner. She will be sadly missed.

Sharon is survived by their, children Joseph (Helen) Bouterse of Indianapolis, IN., Jim Bouterse of Warsaw, IN., Jeff (Robin) Bouterse of Colon, MI., Lynn Butts of Warsaw, IN., Rhonda (Jim) Stover of Cassopolis, MI., David Proctor of Cassopolis, MI. and Julie Daum of Cassopolis, MI., grandchildren Jimmy Bouterse, Jilliam Bouterse, CJ Stover, Ryan Stover, Jessica Daum, Melanie Lintz, Sierra Butts, Airania, and TJ; and 13 great-grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her great-granddaughter Audrey Ingold and her siblings Ronald McKenzie, Dennis McKenzie and Patricia Boehne.

Visitation will be from 10 am – 12 pm on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at Stemm -Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 12pm.
