Sonya Marie Schrock

Sonya Marie Schrock, age 57 of Elkhart, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Sonya was born on October 27, 1968 to Herbert Reginald and Susan Kay Watchorn in Elkhart, IN.

Sonya graduated from Concord High School, class of 1987. She attended Purdue University in Ft. Wayne, IN. She worked as a photo lab supervisor and night supervisor at CVS for over 20 years. In her youth she was a cake decorator for Dairy Queen, and she worked at Rug Decore. Sonya enjoyed making crafts, by painting or cross stitch. She was most happy when she was baking something special for her family and friends to enjoy. Most of all Sonya loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Sonya is survived by her children, Nicholas (Cheyene Bailey) Miller of Goshen, IN., Bethany (Tyson) Watkins of Elkhart, IN., Morgan Watchorn of Boyne City, MI; grandchildren Maddox, Xavier, Elliot, Arya, Raven, Ezra, Bellatrix and Rowan; her siblings Deanna Watchorn and Timothy Watchorn. Sonya was preceded in death by her parents Herbert Watchorn and Susan Davidson, and her granddaughter Lily.
