Stanley A. Ramsey

Stanley A. Ramsey, age 88, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday December 14, 2021 at his home. He was born November 23, 1933 in Wilmot, IN to Floyd and Helen Ramsey.  In 1954 he married Margaret “Peggy” Garritson, after her passing he married Ethel K. Paulsen on July 30, 1981.

After graduating high school, Stan joined the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He became a barber. He enjoyed collecting movies, playing bridge, high school basketball games and travel. His great love was spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Trinity on Jackson.

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Ethel, sons Bill (Lynda) Ramsey of Kissimmee, FL., Robert Ramsey of Elkhart, James Ramsey of Elkhart, Robert Paulsen of Union, MI., and Timothy (Lyndsy) Paulsen of Hortonville, WI, grandchildren Justin Ramsey, Emily Ramsey, Mia Paulsen and Lexi Paulsen.  He was preceded in death by his sister, June Rink.

Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Trinity on Jackson, 2715 East Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46516 where friends may visit with family 2 hours before services.  Pastor Karen Koelsch will officiate. Entombment will follow at Rice Cemetery Chapel of Memories with military honors. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity on Jackson Church.
