Thomas A. Irelan, 55 of Bristol, Indiana passed away at 12:40 P.M. Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on October 4, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana to James A. Irelan Sr. and Yvonne McCavit.
Surviving are his mother, Yvonne Irelan of Middlebury, Indiana; a brother, Jim (Teresa) Ireland of Bristol and three sisters, Brenda (John) Lehman of Florida, Nancy Irelan of Bristol and Susan (Wayne) Hochstettler of Elkhart.
The family is planning a memorial service for Tom at a later date. He was a mechanic for 30 years and a member of the Moose Lodge # 599, Elkhart. He loved to play guitar and his Harley Davidson Motorcycle was his life.
Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart assisted the family with final arrangements.
