Toni L. Brown

Toni L. Brown, 56 of Elkhart, died at 4:40 am, Sept. 5, 2011 at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 29, 1955 in Elkhart to Paul E. and Wilma P. (Ross) Goble and graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1973. Toni was co-owner of 3N Appaloosa Ranch, Peoria, AZ and served in the U.S. Air Force. She was an activist for breast cancer awareness.

Surviving are a son, Paul E. Brown of Elkhart, 4 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Crystal (Ralph) Brown of Florida, Karen Goble and Paula Burkholder both of Elkhart and a brother, James (Carla) Schrock of Florida. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa A. Bailey and her parents.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the 1 pm memorial service on Saturday, Sept. 17th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Faith mausoleum, Rice Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
