Trisha Marie Barnard

Trisha Marie Barnard, 41, of Elkhart, IN passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Esther Hospice House, on Monday, September 16, 2024. Trisha was preceded in death by her grandpa, Jack Reed and grandparents Doris and Clarence Barnard.

 Trisha was born on November 20, 1982, to Kevin and Cindy Lou Barnard. Trisha spent her childhood with her parents camping and swimming and enjoying the beauty of nature. On June 7, 2024, Trisha married Robert Kimes. Trisha is survived by her husband, Robert Kimes, of Elkhart, IN; parents Kevin (Cindy) Barnard of Elkhart, IN; children, Kirstin (Alejandro) Alvarez of Elkhart, IN; Kammie Caraway of Elkhart, IN; Kaleb Caraway of Elkhart, IN; Alexandra Kimes of Elkhart, IN; Gabbriella Kimes of Elkhart, IN; Kilisia (Jared) Grosswieller of Elkhart, IN; a grandson Theodore “Theo” Alvarez; sister, Tiffany (Richard) Kocielko of Elkhart, IN; a brother, Kyle Barnard of Elkhart, IN. Trisha is also survived by her mother and father in-law, Stephen (Brenda) Kimes of Elkhart, IN and Grandmother Lucille Grandstaff of Arcadia, FL.

 Trish loved to spend time participating in arts and crafts, playing card games, and Yahtzee. She was also a very devout Ohio State fan and loved to spend time swimming and being at the beach. Trisha’s greatest love in life, however, was being a mother. Trisha loved to spend time with her kids and take care of them in any circumstances.

 A celebration of life will take place from 2 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at her parents’ residence.
