Trudy Ann (Bowman) Baker

The heavens welcomed an angel with the passing of Trudy Ann Baker, 64, who passed away at Elkhart County Hospice House on Sunday, April 19, 2020. She was born on August 6, 1955 in South Bend, IN to Harry and Eleanore Bowman.

Trudy is survived by her siblings; Kurt (Laura) Bowman of Union, Michigan, Susan Murry of Littleton, Colorado, and Brent (Stephanie) Bowman of Union, Michigan. Also, surviving are her nieces and nephews; Chad Bowman of Union, Michigan, Heather (James) Hussey of Denver, Colorado, Faye Bowman of Niles, Michigan, Jake (Vickie) Bowman of Chelsea, Michigan, Brittany Bowman, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Haley Bowman of Union, Michigan; and her great-nieces and nephews, Brayden, Lauren and Kate Burke of Denver, Colorado, and Wyatt Bowman of Chelsea, Michigan

Trudy loved spending time with her family on Coverdale Lake in Union, Michigan and she was a member of the Bristol United Methodist Church.

In keeping with Trudy’s wishes, a private celebration of life service will be held at Stemm-Lawson- Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where Pastor Gary Lewis will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Trudy may be made to Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
