Wayne E. Wise, 85, of Elkhart passed away December 8, 2012 at his home. He was born November 13, 1927 in Elkhart to Harvey and Mildred (Wilhelm) Wise and married Joey Buehler on July 5, 1959. She survives with a daughter, Valerie (Tom) Thomas of Livingston, TX; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Marge (Gary) Cripe of Ocala, FL and Marilyn (Ron) Ball of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Everett, 7 brothers and 1 sister.
Wayne was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired self-employed contractor.
No visitation or services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart.
