William "Bill" Tinman

William F. Tinman, age 67 of Elkhart, IN passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Esther’s House -Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart, IN. Bill was born on July 18, 1959 to John and Mary Tinman in Chicago, IL. He married the love of his life, Patty Everett on August 7, 2004.

Bill worked for MSC in Elkhart in the shipping and receiving department for over 18 years. In his younger years did roofing jobs. He met a beautiful lady while working at Phyl’s corner as a bartender, soon they fell in love and soon thereafter he married Patty. Together they enjoyed singing karaoke and traveling on Bill’s Goldwing motorcycle. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife of over 22 years, Patty, daughter Melissa Lay, grandchildren Danyol Everett and Jayden Newcomer and great-grandchildren Rosalie, Julius and Silas Everett. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Jane Taylor, Eddy (Cindy) Tinman and Tommy Tinman. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Matthew Tinman, John Tinman, Jimmy Tinman and Kevin Tinman.
