William J. Minton, 86, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 8:16 pm at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born April 13, 1924 in Butler County, KY to Bethel W. and Tular B. (Lee) Minton. He is survived by Eunice Lacefield, his sister from Osceola, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie Lytle and brother Stanley Minton.
William retired as a metalworker after working many years in the mobile home industry. He was an avid hunter.
Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday at 12 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart. Rev. Robert Wood will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.
