Willie "Bill" Honey

Willie E. “Bill” Honey, 63, of Elkhart passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Willie was born on January 8, 1959 in Goshen to Willie and Ellen Honey. He married the love of his life Tammy Larson on July 8, 1992 in Elkhart.

Bill worked at Dynamic Metal LLC where he started his career in inventory control and worked up to warehouse manager. Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors from hunting and fishing to finding a special deal at a garage sale or auction to planting a flower garden or a vegetable garden. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tammy; their children Aleisha and Steve LaPlace of Edwardsburg, MI., Terrie (Chris) Dozier of Elkhart, Joanie Honey of Elkhart, Erica Honey of Elkhart, and Jamie (Rachel) Burnett of Osceola; grandchildren Gabrianna (Ian) Gratzol- Hartman, Abby Gratzol, Terrence Edwards, Loviniese Edwards, Isaac Dozier, Isaiah Edwards, Jayce Dozier, Lillyana Edwards, Josiah Edwards, Amelia Burnett and Jonah Edwards and his sister Sharon (Lawrence) Brooks of Saginaw, MI.

Visitation will be held from 11am -1 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be at 1pm. Pastor Gary Sheets will officiate. Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery in Goshen.
