Addie Nadine (Thompson) Nenna

Addie Nadie Nenna, age 77, of Elkhart passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital. Addie was born on October 12, 1944 to Vardaman and Cassie Thompson in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Addie enjoyed working as a blackjack casino dealer. She was always up for a good long conversation. She enjoyed singing. She loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Addie is survived by her children, Thomas Mayville of Elkhart, Donna Lee Mayville aka Rosebud Blossom Queenz heart of Crescent City, CA and Tiffeny (Stan Brown) Nenna of Jasper, TN; her grandchildren,  Mandi Jo (Ernesto) Palos of Elkhart, Chasta (Bryan) Tucker of Lebanon, TN, Stevie Nikole (Jonathan Smartt) Warner of Dunlap, TN, Jaime Jo (Martin) Rodriguez of Elkhart, Brian (Jessica) Frances of Missouri,  Addison Paige Nenna of Elkhart and  Cassie Jo Nenna of Elkhart; her great-grandchildren Madelynn, Brianna, Adalee, Oliver, Isaac Shane and one on the way; her sister Clara Dell Davis of Blytheville, AR., the her father of her children,  Frank Nenna Jr., of Blytheville, AR. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Shane Nenna and her siblings, Emanuel Thompson, Daniel Thompson, Earlene Thompson, Dee Vee Thompson, twins Lester and Luster Thompson, Mary Elizabeth Morris, twins Margie and Marie Thompson, Sadie Ann Short, Donald Gene Thompson.

Funeral services for Addie will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where friends may visit from 10am – 1pm. Pastor Keith McFarren will officiate. Interment will follow at Rice Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
