Amy Elizabeth Miller

Amy Elizabeth Miller, age 57, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday October 23, 2021 at her home. She was born September 30, 1964 in Elkhart to Charles “Red”, Jr. and Barbara Ann Miller.

Amy graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She was a Severe Disabilities Teacher for the Elkhart Community Schools. Amy was also a Health and Safety Specialist for the American Red Cross and Special Olympics Coach. She loved her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews very much as well as her family. She was an avid camper, loved fishing and art. She loved her partner, soulmate and caregiver, Gina.

Surviving are her partner, soulmate and care giver Gina Iannarelli, siblings: Kathleen Miller, Charles N. (Brenda) Miller, Nancy (Randy) Tinder and Lori Howard, Nieces and nephews: Julie (Chip)  Knepper, Sarah (Brian) O’Connor, Emily (Brian) Mills, Laura Tinder Ryan Howard and Kevin Howard, her God Child Isabella Grace Mills, great-nieces and great-nephews, Sadie Knepper, Olivia Knepper, Kallen O’Conner, Jullian O’Conner, Mackenzie Mills, Issabella Mills, Alexandria Mills, Olivia Mills, Nora Howard, Regan Iannarelli and Jackson Iannarelli and Gina’s family: Nick (Jayme) & Regan Iannarelli, Justin (Lacy) & Jackson Iannarelli, Linda Bushong and Tom Pavoni. Amy was preceded in in death by her parents, Charles and Barbara Miller, her grandparents and her aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday Oct. 30, 2021 at Augustana Lutheran Church, 1133 Kilbourn Street, Elkhart, IN 46514, where a memorial service will be at 12 pm. Sister Nora Frost will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart at a later date.
