Betty C. Kissinger

Betty C. Kissinger, age 91, of Union, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her daughter’s home. Betty was born on May 12, 1929 in Marcellus, Michigan to William and Crystal Gemberling. She married Jerry C. Kissinger on November 11, 1975 in Elkhart.

Betty worked for Elkhart County Health Department. She was a very hardworking lady, she enjoyed working. She looked forward to helping her daughter and son-in-law at Wood Part, INC., in Elkhart. She never missed a day of work and looked forward to her Saturday’s meeting her friends at Zimmy’s for breakfast, where she was known as the “Queen of Zimmyville,”

Betty is survived by her daughter, Debra (Howard Barry) Landis of Bristol; her grandchildren, Dale L. Cloud, Jr., William Cloud, Ryan (Dannie) Landis, Tammy Oliver and Tina Whitehead; great-grandson, Derek Landis. Betty was preceded by her parents, her husband, her son’s, Doyle Cloud and Dale Cloud; her sister, Vivian and her granddaughter, Alicia.

 Friends may visit with family from 6-8 pm on Friday April 2, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 9 am on Saturday April 3, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at East Union Cemetery in Union, Michigan.
