Obituary

Carol K. Gregg, age 81, of South Bend formerly of Middlebury, passed away on January 15, 2021 at Briarcliff health and Rehabilitation in South Bend, IN. Carol was born on December 6, 1939 in Wakarusa, Indiana to Wilbur and Choice Pippenger. She married Don Gregg on August 6, 1955 in LaGrange, IN and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1984.

Carol worked for Middlebury School Corporation. After graduation from college, Carol worked as an electronics engineer for Eaton Controls. She was a member of Berea Missionary Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart. 

Carol is survived by her sisters, Verna Stouder of Elkhart and Wanda (Larry) Bangheart, her nieces and nephews, Chuck W. Stouder of South Bend, Sandi (Dominic) Balbo of Granger, Laura Bloch of Allen, Texas, Diane Greshan of Allen, Texas, Connie Anderson, Tom Hood, Diane Aaron and Charles Hood. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dale E. Pippenger and her nephew, Wayne E. Pippenger and her brother-in-law, Chuck Stouder.

Graveside services will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart. Where Pastor Janet Shaver will officiate.
