Carol J. (Wyres) Stiver

Carol J. Stiver, age 78, of Elkhart passed away on April 7, 2021 at Elkhart Hospice House. Carol was born on September 27, 1942 in Elkhart to Marvin and Dorcas Wyres in Elkhart. She married Thomas E. Stiver on December 26, 1970 in Goshen.

Carol graduated from House of James Beauty College in South Bend in 1965. She enjoyed working as a cosmetologist.

Carol is survived by her husband of 50 years, Thomas and her sisters Gloria Cripe of Elkhart and Sharon (Jake) Quiring of Abilene, Texas.

Friends may visit from 10am – 12 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 12pm. Interment will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
