David James Artley

David James Artley, age 43, of Elkhart passed away on August 23, 2020. David was born on March 17, 1977 in Elkhart to Glenn Robert and Georgiana Artley. On June 15, 2013 he married Stephanie Tiemann.

David was a saw operator for Forest River and previously at Heartland RV. He enjoyed playing basketball, in 1995 he played basketball for Elkhart Central High School where they competed in the state finals. He loved motorcycles and fishing, but most of all he loved his family.

David is survived by his wife Stephanie; his children, Collin Michael Tiemann, Noah Clayton Stewart and Ariel Louise Artley all of Elkhart; his parents Glenn Robert Artley of Elkhart, Georgiana Artley of Elkhart; his sister Caitlin (David) Eversole of Bristol; his niece Olivia Anne Eversole; his nephew Micah David Eversole.

Friends may visit 4-8 pm on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10 am at the funeral home with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Middlebury next to his grandparents. Memorial donations may be made to A Rosie Place, 53130 Quince Road, South Bend, IN 46628.
