Dolores M, Shabala

Dolores M. Shabala, 94, of Elkhart passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Brickyard Care Center in Elkhart. She was born on May 13, 1928 in Olean, New York to Norman and Mary Magdalene Slayer.  She married Ronald Shabala in 1947.

Dolores retired as a secretary from Saint Joseph Hospital. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing card games at the casinos in Vegas and Michigan City, Indiana. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Dolores is survived by her children, Mike (Jackie) Shabala, Ann Shabala, Tom (Jennifer) Shabala and Steve (Christy) Shabala; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ron in 1982, her son Ronald Mark and his wife Carol Shabala and her sister Loraine Hasper.
