Edward Miles Tice

Edward Miles Tice, age 67, of Elkhart passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. Ed was born on May 3, 1953 in Elkhart to Darrelle and Emma Tice. He married Annette Stankovich on March 1, 2002 in Elkhart.

Ed worked for over 20 years at Northwest Trailer Parts formerly MHS and Forest River as a shipping and receiving manager. He enjoyed golfing, mushroom hunting, singing karaoke and listening to The Righteous Brothers. He was an avid sports fan, he loved Notre Dame, the Chicago Cubs and Da Bears. His favorite pastime was mowing the lawn. There was no problem a cold long neck Miller-lite couldn’t solve. His greatest love was the love for his family. Ed was a kind and fair man. He had the biggest heart which never failed, even in the end.  

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Annette Tice; children, Jason Tice, Angela Tice, Kelsey (Bobby) Likens; grandchildren, Braden, Jordan, Jaxon, Tyler, Matthew, Savannah, Piper and Benjamin; siblings, David (Karen) Johnson, John Mast and Patricia Mahah; sister-in-law, Pam Tice.  Ed was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joshua Stankovich, and his brothers Larry Tice and Jack Tice.

In keeping with Ed’s wishes a celebration of life service will be from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Stemm-Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514 where closing comments will be at 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Ed may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
