Evelyn Mary (Bolin) Stutsman

Evelyn Mary (Bolin) Stutsman left to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, April 13, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born to Herman and Beatrice (Klinger) Bolin on September 13, 1928 in Granger, Indiana. In 1963, as Evelyn Landis, she married Wayne E Stutsman in Edwardsburg, Michigan. He survives her along with two sons, Terry (Sharlene) Landis of Union, Michigan, Doug (Debra) Landis of Elkhart, Indiana, two grandsons, Tony Landis of Elkhart, Indiana and Eric (Jody) Landis of Vandalia, Michigan, four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, two step granddaughters Amy (Jeff) Varano of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Kami (Aaron) Wait of Elkhart, Indiana and four great step grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were brothers, Wilber and Howard Bolin, sister Beverly Bolin and grandson Adam Landis.

Evelyn attended Mishawaka High school and graduated from Bristol High school in 1946. She retired from Miles Laboratories/Bayer Corporation after 41 years of dedicated service.

Evelyn was a past president of The Elkhart Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, an officer of the Elkhart Sports Car Club, Charter member and officer of the Indiana Lake Association, owner of 'Thistles' Corner gift shop, and member of the Miles Quarter Century Club.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and was forever beautifying her beloved home on Indiana Lake where she resided since 1950.

In honoring her request no public funeral or memorial services will be held.
