Howard "KG" Rose

Howard Kenneth Rose, 47, of South Bend, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday August 20, 2020 at Vibra Hospital in Crown Point, IN. He was born January 5, 1973 in Chicago, IL to Howard and Arretha (Sims) Rose.

KG loved Michael Jackson, singing rap and dancing. He always loved the Lord and had given his life to Him.

Surviving are his children: Keneisha Rose of Mishawaka, Kiana James of Atlanta, GA., Briana Baker of South Bend, Sasha Rose of Logansport, IN., Muhammad Rose of Logansport, IN and Antonio Ware of Elkhart, his siblings: Rutha Rose, Ethel Rose, Delores Rose, May Rose, Effie Rose, Ivory “Jean” Rose, C.L. Rose, Jessie Rose and Willie Rose, 14 grandchildren, the mother of his children Rhoshanda Baker and many, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son James Rose.

Visitation will be 11am to 1pm Friday August 28, 2020 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be at 1 pm with Pastor Robinson officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Memorials for KG may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
