Ina M. (Mainord) Smith

Ina May Smith, 74 of Elkhart, formerly of Anderson, IN passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Elkhart Hospice House. Ina was born on December 9, 1944 in Livingston, Tennessee to Kenneth “Mitchell” and Mary Bell (Ledbetter) Mainord.

Ina was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She retired from General Motors. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and New Life Community Church in Elkhart.

Ina is survived by her daughters, Robin Reveal and Tiffany Brown both of Elkhart, her grandchildren; Nathan, Danielle, Skiler, Karli, Destinee, Bryce and Brayden and her great grand daughter Addison. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Watson of Anderson, IN and her brothers, John L. (Gloria) Mainord of Nashville, IN and Tony (Sharon) Mainord of Anderson, IN. Ina was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Sherry Jarrett and her sister Frances Hamm.

Friends may visit with family from 9am – 10 am on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514 where the funeral will be held at 10 am, with Pastor Al Kinsey officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
