Jere Eaton Obituary

Jere Eaton, age 57, of Middlebury, passed away Saturday Aug, 28, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born December 24, 1963 in Indianapolis, IN to James and Dede Eaton.

Jere graduated from Manchester College where he also played basketball. He worked for Crossroads RV as a Regional Sales Manager. He enjoyed golfing, watching the Indianapolis Colts, playing basketball or simply out on his pontoon. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

Jere is survived by his son Jake (Chelsea) Eaton of Goshen, daughter Kori (Alex Mazurek) Eaton of Bonita Springs, FL, parents James and Dede Eaton of Fishers, IN., brothers Jim (Mary) Eaton of Cassopolis, MI., Jeff Eaton of Noblesville, IN. and Joe (Florie) Eaton of Fishers, his fiancée Lori Floyd of Middlebury, his dog Sadie and his many good friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514. Friends may visit from 11am – 1 pm. Burial will be private at Gracelawn Cemetery in Middlebury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Colon Cancer Foundation, 10 Midland Ave, Suite M-06, Port Chester, NY 10573 www.coloncancerfoundation.org  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.stemmlawsonpeterson.com
