Johnny Dale Carr

Johnny Dale Carr, 51, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Goshen Hospital. He was born July 3, 1970 in Elkhart to Daniel J. Carr, Sr. and Bonnie Barton.

Johnny worked in the RV manufacturing business. He was a member of Granger Community Church in Elkhart. He enjoyed going to Cedar Point Amusement Park and listening to music, especially John Mellencamp, Mercy Me and Casting Crowns.

He is survived by his parents Daniel J. Carr, Sr of Florida and Bonnie (Larry) Barton of Bristol, and son Jared Carr of Bristol, step-son Josh Myers of Granger, nieces and nephews, Patrick, Derek, Timothy, Camron, Amanda, Daniel and Dakota.

He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel J. Carr, Jr. and nephew Hayden.

Visitation will be 10am-12pm Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Granger Community Church, 2701 E. Bristol St., Elkhart, IN where services will be at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the Carr family.
