Jonathan B. Tuff

Jonathan B. Tuff, age 52, of Elkhart passed away on March 28th, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. 
Jonathan was born on February 20th, 1969 in Elkhart to Jack & Kaye Tuff. He & Brad Priest were married on March 6th, 2016 (totaling 21 Years together) at Artisan in Elkhart.

Jonathan's career was always creative as an Interior Designer, starting with working for his father Jack at Tops Home Center & Tuff Properties.  From 1990-1995 Jonathan owned & operated J.B. Brent & Co, a men's clothing store in downtown Elkhart.  Next came several years living in Chicago & working for Ralph Lauren.  When Jonathan returned to Elkhart he & his sister Cynthia Tuff took over and created the new Garber's Interior Design.  Jonathan's Designs & Projects expand over at least 4 states & most of his clients have become friends. 
Charities have always been important to Jonathan & his family which includes being a board member of Ruthmere Museum Campus, Elkhart Symphony, the Ronald McDonald House, & so many more.  Jonathan & Brad's favorite is supporting the Humane Society of Elkhart County, especially the annual Best-in-Show Fundraising Gala.
Jonathan's latest project was "Hey--Let's Talk w/The Garber Boys" a weekly Saturday Morning Live broadcast on the Garber's Interior Design Facebook Page.  On the Show Jonathan would not only talk Design & Gifts but he would promote other Locally Owned Businesses & Charities.

Jonathan is Survived by his husband Brad Priest of Elkhart, his sisters Cynthia J. Tuff of Elkhart and Karen (Mark) Thompson of Louisville, KY and his nephews Chad & Brett

Friends may visit with family from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Thursday April 1, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd Elkhart, IN  46514 and Friday April 2nd 2021 from 1-3pm. 
A Service for Jonathan will be held @ 3pm
