Karen Kay (Dahms) Chamberlin

Karen Kay Chamberlin, 77, of Elkhart passed away on May 25, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. Karen was born on May 30, 1942 in Benton Harbor, MI to Carlisle and Marie Dahms. She married Wesley Chamberlin on August 20, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Karen was an administrative assistant for SimplexGrinnell. She enjoyed making crafts and most currently making cards for family and friends. Karen was a loving, wife, mom, sister, grandma and great-grandma, she will be greatly missed.

Karen leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 25 years, Wesley , their children, Patty Joslyn of Elkhart, Linda (Jon) Paul of Elkhart, Richard Joslyn of Grandview, TX, Nathan (Michelle)  Chamberlin of Radford, VA, Amy (Jerry) Rings of Elkhart, Christian (Jennifer) Chamberlin of Wenatchee, WA, John (Krystal) Chamberlin of Beaumont, CA, Jeremy (Johanna) Chamberlin of Richmond Hills, Ga; grandchildren, Rachel (Andrew) Holland, Matthew Cook, Elizabeth (Mark) Clere, Anthony( Meredith) Paul, Nicholas, Joslyn, Cheyenne Joslyn, Arron (Abby) Chamberlin, Ian  Chamberlin, Stephen Chamberlin, Victoria (Corey) Heath, Megan Graham, Zachary Graham, Taylin Chamberlin, Gabrielle Chamberlin, Riley Chamberlin, Nicholas Gray, Tatianna Krebsbach and Annalyse Chamberlin;  great grandchildren, Jordan, Lucas, Lennon, Liam, Lucas, Landon, Lincoln, Jaymie, Degan, Miles, Quinn and Savanah; her sister Carol (Rene) Secor of Dowagiac, MI. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Robert Dahms, Michael Dahms, Barbara Allen and Margaret Wagner.

Friends may gather with family from 5-8 pm on Friday, May 29,2020 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514. Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Saturday, May 30 at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Estep will officiate. Memorial donations in memory of Karen may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
