Kenneth E. Bartell

Kenneth E. Bartell, age 89 of Elkhart passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Ken was born on October 13, 1931 in Benton Harbor, MI., to Barney and Edna Bartell. He married Corrie Wood on April 11, 1988.

Ken honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He formerly worked in sales in the RV Industry. He was the owner of Bartell Seating. After retirement he enjoyed delivering motor coaches across American. He received a million-mile accident free award. He was an avid golfer and was very proud he made 3 hole-in-ones.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Corrie of Elkhart, daughters Cindy Bartell (Doug Rusthoven) of South Bend and Robin (Mark) Fioritto of Elkhart, step-children Pamela (Rus) Wallace of Tulsa, OK and Jeff McLallin of Fresno, CA; sisters Beryl Guzowski of South Bend, Beverly Steele of South Bend and Audrey Spergl of Hilton SC. 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughters, Valarie Bartell and Christan Bartell and a brother Bernie Bartell, step-daughter Debra Bales.

Friends may visit with family 11am – 1 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where services will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Don Greulich officiating. Military honors will follow services at the funeral home.
