Linda Kay (Proctor) Tony

Linda Kay Tony 68, of Goshen, passed away Saturday April 6, 2024 at Ernestine Raclin House, Mishawaka. She was born August 12, 1955 in Charleston, WV to Graften and Beulah Proctor. On May 27, 1978  she married Randy Tony at Zion Missionary Church in Elkhart.

Linda worked as a crossing guard for Monger Elementary School for 38 years and as an associate at Walmart for 16 years. She was very crafty and loved to paint, Randy called her “Little Picasso” and very talented at sewing and cross stitch making beautiful farm quilts and crafts for shows.

Surviving are her husband Randy, daughters, Amanda Wetzel of Grass Lake, MI and Stephanie (Ben Dirks) Tony of Elkhart, grandson Kansas Wetzel, brothers Harold Proctor Charleston, WV and Richard Proctor Topeka, IN  and best “sister” friend Karen Kidder of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Roger Proctor.

Visitation for Linda will be from 11am to 1 pm Friday April 12, 2024 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be at 1pm with Pastor Jacob LaBounty officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
