Marsha K. (Smith) Schroth

Marsha K (Smith) Schroth 77 of North Port, FL, formerly of Elkhart, IN passed away at home on Saturday January 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. Marsha was born December 25,1946 to Albert D. and Catherine I. (Clement) Smith in Elkhart, IN. She married Dennis Schroth on August 16, 1968 in Elkhart, IN. Marsha was survived by her husband of over 55 years Dennis Schroth; their children Brian C. (Robin) Schroth, Teresa Smith; grandchildren Dylan Schroth, Maxwell Schroth, Ashley Pickering and Devin (Drew) Pickering; great grandson Finnley Pickering. Marsha was preceded in death by her parent's Albert D. and Catherine Smith, her twin brother Mitchell R. Smith, brother Terry L Smith and Linda (Ken) Went. Marsha loved to spend time with family and was very proud of all of them.

She had a servant’s heart and went on several mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Biloxi, MS after Hurricane Katrina. She also helped raise money for Shriner's Childrens Hospital and Multiple Sclerosis Society. Marsha enjoyed meeting with the "1965 Lunch Brigade" for lunch when in Indiana. Marsha was involved with many Church activities in Indiana and Florida and also with Women's Walk With Christ in Colorado where she staffed many weekends. Marsha and her husband enjoyed traveling and made many trips to the Bahamas and made many friends there.
