Marvin Edward Long, 79 of Elkhart passed away on Monday March 18, 2024 at Elkhart General Hospital. Marvin was born on February 1,1945 in Elkhart, IN to Marvin and Maxine Long. He married Tihna Long Mares.

Marvin graduated from high school, then honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and the United Coast Guard. Marvin worked in the RV industry. He enjoyed putting together model cars. He loved to spend time with his friends and family.

Marvin is survived by his children Frankie (Jenny) Tosie of Ft. Campbell, KY., Angelo N. Daley of Ft. Campbell, KY., and Shary Selin Long of Seattle, WA; grandchildren Qubid, Aurora and Alfonso, sister Patricia Krauzer and his favorite dog “Gaia”. Marvin was preceded in death by his dad Marvin (Eve) Long,  his mom Maxine Windmiller, wife Tihna Tosie, children Sky Flower Long and Orlando Long, sister Cindy Shue and brother Tim Long.

Visitation will be from 5-6 pm on Sunday March 24, 2024 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 6pm. He will be laid to rest at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart, IN. Online condolences may be made to his family at www.stemmlawsonpeterson.com
