Mary Louise Caldwell

Mary Louise Caldwell, 71, of Anniston, Alabama, formerly of Elkhart, passed away Thursday June 9, 2022 at Jacksonville Rehabilitation and Nursing in Jacksonville, Alabama. She was born September 21, 1950 in Boone County, WV to Leonard and Henrietta Martin. On December 9, 1967 in Elkhart, she married Roger Dale Caldwell who preceded her in death on August 19, 1998.

Mary worked as a seamstress in her younger years at Forrest River in the Odyssey Division. She was a member of the DAV Post 19 in Elkhart. She enjoyed traveling and devoted her time to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing especially the polka. She loved to have fun and most importantly she loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her children Roger E. Caldwell of Elkhart and Danny D. Caldwell & Shelli Overholt of Elkhart, grandchildren Amanda (Tommy) Leach, Melinda Caldwell, Justine Stamper and Jaymee (Ryan) Dick, great-grandchildren Madison, Austin, Caleb,Wyatt, Danny, Liam, Addy, Amelia and Logan, siblings: Clarence “Pete” (Janet) Martin of Anniston, AL, Kay (Tom) Jacobin of Ocala, FL., sister-in-law Sharon Martin of West Virginia She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger, twin children, Rhonda and Ronald and her siblings Paul Martin and Carolyn Proctor.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where visitation will be one hour before the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
