Michael H. Switalski

Michael Henry Switalski, age 79, of South Bend, IN passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Mike was born on May 11, 1942 in South Bend to Michael James and Henrietta Switalski. He married Amelia Francile Andrews on October 29, 1961 at the Apostolic Temple Church in South Bend, IN.

Mike and his wife Fran are members at the Apostolic Temple Church in South Bend. He was self-employed and owned his own truck washing business for many years. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his wife 60 years, Fran Switalski; their children Manette (James) Donlon of Niles, MI. and Mike “Jeep” (Laura) Switalski of Osceola, IN; grandchildren Brittany Switalski, Bryan Switalski, Dylan McDaniel and Kaley Mihail; great-grandchildren Ryley McDaniel, Mylah McDaniel and Aiden Switalski; his nephew Zach White and his Aunt Patricia Sobczak and his uncle Stanley Woltman.  Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Bridget Jean Olmstead.

Funeral services will be at 11am on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Apostolic Temple Church, 2221 South Ironwood Drive, South Bend, IN 46614 where friends may visit one hour before services at the church. Pastor Chris Rowe will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN. Memorial donations may made to Apostolic Temple Church.
