Payton Timothy Lochotzki, 15, of Elkhart passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. Payton was born on October 23, 2007 to Miles T. and Jennifer L. Lochotzki in Elkhart, IN.
Payton was a wonderful son and amazing big brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He was an extremely talented baseball player and musician. He played for both the Freshmen and Junior Varsity Baseball teams and earned the lead trumpet spot for The Elkhart High School Lions Advanced Jazz Band. He absolutely loved spending time with his friends goofing off or hanging out with his siblings and cousins. He enjoyed going bowling, fishing, eating popcorn with M&M’s while having family movie nights and so much more.

Payton is survived by his parents Miles and Jennifer Lochotzki; his siblings Gavin, Ethan and Mae-Ella Lochotzki all of Elkhart, IN; his Grandparents Rhonda & Bill Severeid, JR., of Cassopolis, MI, Scott & Connie Miracle of Vicksburg, MI, Roseanne Breitzke of Elkhart, IN and Mike Lochotzki of Elkhart, IN; Great-Grandparents Al & Karon Miracle of Centerville, MI, and Luana Harder of Wauseon, Ohio; Aunts and Uncles Carolyn & James Lindeman, Ashley & Nate Grant, Kristina & Cody Vance, Morgan Severeid & her fiancé Jovan Amaya and Bailey Miracle; Cousins Austin Taylor, Laira (Logan) Wolfgang, Trystan Grant, Anthony Grant and Carson Vance as well as many other friends and family that loved him.
Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Monday, April 10, 2023 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46154 where funeral services will be held at 7pm.
